چکیده
The method to obtain an accurate influence line (IL) from the direct measurement is important research topic for structural condition assessment, model correction and bridge weigh-in-motion (BWIM) system. two most common approaches used identification of IL are time-domain (TD) frequency-domain (FD) method. Despite having a similar mathematical framework, TD FD methods treated as different by researchers working on this field. This paper presents detailed theoretical demonstration show that discussed above nothing but same. were compared experimentally using field data existing steel girder which obtained three calibration trucks (CTs) with axle weights configurations. Although ILs identified apparently different, insight into frameworks revealed basically same seeming difference between due inherent assumptions involved in discrete Fourier transform (DFT) such assumption cyclic nature analysis interval. Finally, has been outlined.

Frequency domain versus time domain methods in system identification
For some reason I now forget, Keith Glover and I were asked to prepare a discussion paper on frequency and time domain methods in system identi cation by the organizers of the IFAC symposium on System Identi cation in Darmstadt 1979. I visited Keith in Cambridge in April 1979 to prepare our paper. It later evolved into an Automatica arcticle. Since then, there has been a useful development of s...
متن کاملan investigation into translation of cultural concepts by beginner and advance student using think – aloud protocols
this research aims at answering the questions about translation problems and strategies applied by translators when translating cultural concepts. in order to address this issue, qualitative and quantitative study were conducted on two groups of subjects at imam reza international university of mashhad. these two groups were assigned as beginner and advanced translation students (10 students). ...
Relations between Time Domain and Frequency Domain Prediction Error Methods
Prediction error techniques for joint identification of parametric transfer functions and noise models from measured data are considered. The time domain and frequency domain prediction error methods are presented and compared and their close connection with corresponding maximum-likelihood method is explored. Conditions are established under which the two techniques are asymptotically equivalent.
متن کاملdirect hydrocarbon identification by quality factor determination using energy density calculation in time-frequency domain
in exploration seismology quality factor is widely used as a seismic attribute to identify anomalies related to attenuation, especially those caused by hydrocarbon. previous studies have indicated that seismic energy loss known as attenuation is greater for high frequency components of seismic data compared to the low frequency components. here the continuous wavelet transform is used to study ...
متن کاملseismic texture recognition in time-frequency domain
in seismic exploration studies different types of techniques are used to recognize seismic features in terms of their temporal and spatial spectra. variations in frequency content are sensitive to subtle changes in reflection information (castro de matos et al., 2003). in this study the joint time-frequency analysis is used for seismic texture recognition. discrete wavelet transform (dwt) witho...
